this is a little more simplified sketch but still unorganized.

this is the first sketch i did for my bearded dragon idea.

this is the sketch i did of a bearded dragon to scan in and use on the top of my info graphic.

I had a lot of different ideas and things that i wanted to put on this info graphic.  But i had to think about space.  I chose to cut some things out and leave it with just the basics. i didn't want to go into to much detail on the info graphic because it would be way too much text.  So i cut some detailed info in order to keep it simple, and remember this is not the only research that should be done on the bearded dragon.  This was made to hang next to the bearded dragon exhibit in the pet store, so you get the basic knowledge about the animal.  This is made to give you the basic info and the time and money you need before you think about buying a bearded dragon. I made this clear in the info graphic that this should not be the only source of research you use.

Yes i know it's long but the layout works better this way then it does as a horizontal poster, like i had before.

Updated infor graphic. I need to rearrange the layout, make the numbered steps stand out more, and work on the header.  I am considering making it a long poster instead of a pamphlet of wide poster, i think it will work better that way.

Title- “Is a bearded dragon the right pet for you?”, “Bearded Dragon from ‘The Outback’ to Your House”, “Bearded Dragon Care Guide”

Goals and Objectives- I want to show how great of a pet a bearded dragon is and how easy they are to take care of. I want to use numerical data to back up my points, such as the amount of money and time spent to have a bearded dragon as a pet.

Media- I am planning on printing this as a poster, the format I am looking at to use is a format like the sitting is killing us info graphic we looked at in the beginning of the semester

Audience- This will be an info graphic made for people looking into getting a bearded dragon as a pet

color

I used color to sperate my information into categories. I used 5 different categories, i chose these colors by what that genre of music makes me feel.  Alternative music is in red because it is most popular and therefore sticks out in my head more.  Rock is the most used a bold color and so is rock.  Pop is fun and bright, so i chose a bright purple color.  Dance music has a lot of energy so i chose orange to represent that, i did not use yellow because it is a hard color to see. Hip hop is always talking about money and is probably one of the most wealthy genre, so thats why i chose green.  I agree with the color article, i believe i used his ideas in my mapping.  The only thing i worry about is if my background, the amount of genres listened to is too loud and is taking away from the arrows and the foreground.
